Welcome to the JV class. Being and JV isn’t bad but that really is what this site’s about.

I’m sure there’s a better term but I’ve been doing what I would consider soul searching and looking at my internet business which I guess you could call a train wreck. I’ve decided to set the site up in three sections one about me but more how I can help you get the right mindset then a section for people just starting off and even just considering starting websites and then a section for the people that really want to be big Sellers and really make money everyday just selling machines.

Why you should listen to me. First because I’m not selling anything now there will be some links added but it’s because it’s where I think someone wanting to build websites it’s going to need to go or at least it’s been helpful to me. I am so sick of false promises over sales upsells scripts that don’t work, of people’s only objective to be to sell me something . I have had enough and have to right the ship a bit.

I think I will hold off with talk about me and developing a plan for a bit.

First I love the internet, but as with most anything there are tons of bad parts. The internet has been a big part of my life now for over 20 years, and I have no regrets. I have built more sites than you would believe, mostly selling prefab sites for little money on the forums. There is really only one site from the “old days” that I still go to, and its not like it was. I should go into that in another post soon.

I think anybody can do so much if thats what they put their mind to it. A bit of skill, a good brain, determined and disciplined surely helps too.

First do you want to build websites? Do you want to create monthly income, or are you looking to sell websites, or maybe just sell your talent on the web. All three are fine, and you might be able to do all three. It really is all on you.

Do you have some sort of plan? Do you have special skills or knowledge? Are you willing to learn and put in the time? Do you have the time and a little spare money? If you have a spouse, and/or children are they on board, they are in this too. If you dont have most all of this you are going to fail, waste some money doing it, and likely just walk away frustrated. Not many tell you that. If it was easy to make boat loads of money I would have real estate, a couple of factories, small stores, and I would still have some internet enterprises.

And as I often do, I went looking for “enterprises” domain names, as I dont recall looking for a name with that ending. Damn popular, but most people that search just enterprises is looking for a car, but tons have looked. On terms that arent evergreen, or terms like services, store, real estate the good names are taken. Huge numbers are for sale, and IMVHO over priced, but that just the way it was. But I also just looked in the last 30 days 1600 .com domains have dropped that were wheteverthe-enterprises.com So in the last few months how many have failed likely doing what you are looking to do.

I’m going to end this post with a final thought, and I hope it gets your wheels turning and help you pick the correct path for you, even if its not got a thing to do with the internet. I sat in on another webinar the other day, and like most I learned something, but it was a sales pitch. That makes 4 I sat through in the last few weeks. I liked the last one, but mostly because it drove me here. His product was making and selling your own product. Of course it was building what is currently selling, which is good, but picking a crowded route, but that for later, he wanted you tell sell his product, but one he was going to let you brand it, along with several others with the EXACT same set up. The price was $495 and I guess if you really promoted it, you could make your money back and perhaps more, but now there will be others with the same set up, and he has already sold 100’s of that product, a plugin. And of course he had upsells included, and just a few more things you need to buy, and on and on, and his plan would have you doing the same, not for me, but if you are interested I will send you a link.
